Very interesting concept/model. I just wonder what material are wings made from ? Looks like fiberglass/Plexiglas or something transparent but bending :)??

I'd say the wings are clearly made of an electrorheological fluid. You know, the kind that forms solid shapes while influenced by an electromagnetic field. That way, the flight computer can choose and control the most efficient shape for the airfoils from moment to moment.

Transparent aluminum? (as seen is Star Trek 4) Really cool design btw!

I rather like it, but is it technically a glider if it has its own propulsion system?

Don't some gliders have a retractable prop to get them off the ground when they can't get a tow?

fabulous... but the land looks like water towards the right... so the guy to the far most right and the DOME to the far most right (near the tail ) looks like they are on water.

but very very nice.

makes me want to go and watch the film SLIPSTREAM again, and makes me wish watching the film SLIPSTREAM would be half as good as looking at your model!
