That is amazingly convincing - the fur pattern is a bit siomple to the lower right, but I guiess that's what your next stage will fix?

bandit on doubling fur settings. 1str of u need 9.5.1 or apply on beta

press on the FFX panel object right click clone ... this will make you another copy of fiber layer that you can further modify

Hi Guys,

a little mini Update.
The Cat is in a Rigging-Process:) a funny Part  for me.
The Animation is provieded in Motionbuilder and Lightwave in a Mix.
Facials is Lightwave-Work.
The final Motionbuilder Cat-Rigg I will download here freely for to offer.
Interested the Motionbuilder-Lightwave-Rigg for free?

For many of the FFX examples my main crit is that the fibers look to 'individual', and defined, but here I think the opposite - some of that effect could help. The longer hairs almost look 'motion blurred' (in the photoshop sense), and could benefit from some individual hair definition.

Great work nonetheless - many subtle details.

*and as everyone knows, cats are the new robot around here ...*

Hi Guy's,

another WIP-Picture with the Cat.
I'm using Morphtrack for animate the Facial-Animations..
This is a GREAT Tool and a Timesaver and worked under the 9.5
with a little Bug.
I hope for a Update :)

9.5.1?

3DBandit

Rendert in 9.5 with 1 Instance...
For the next Furmonster i'm waiting for the 9.51, i need many Instances for the Fur.

The Cat is my first FFX-Character in 9.5 and definitely the last under 9.5.
I have used the Stylingtools from the Layouter.

The Modelerguides are very different by Rendering a Picture in Layout.
The Bias VMap does not work good, to different are the Renderings.

Best,

well my advice wait 9.5.1 there is SO much difference in FFX btw 9.5 and 9.5.1 that you would stop fighting in 9.5 instantly.... really wait or join beta....
