After a long inner debate, I decided to switch to a tablet for my computer needs (the fact that my wrist started to hurt was a push towards the direction as well). I got a 4 x 6 Wacom Intuos.
So, I decided to model something easy, yet entertaining in order to practice using my tablet for Modeler. So came the Ipod. :D
Good chance to get a grip of 9.5's rendering/AA system as well. :)

Pretty cool. The modeling looks good. Some of the surfaces look really solid. Like the single red nano. And the wheels on some of the renders.

These look great! It would be nice if you could get sharper screengrabs for the little screens. They are looking a little pixelated now. I have not seen the newest ipods but it almost looks like the click wheels are blending into the body. Not sure if adding a little more space between them (a tiny amount) would help. Again, this might be accurate, I'm just judging by what looks too CG-ish at the moment.
ps. if you decide to do an iPhone, I can send you an actual screen grab if you want. Just PM me.

Thanks! :D
Yeah, screen grabs are VERY pixelated, especially on high res renders. Hard to get a high resolution screen grab for the new Nano since it's barely out in the market.
I know what you mean about the space between the wheels. They're too "perfect". After I rendered the ipod, I went to an Apple store and checked the real thing and noticed that the imperfection on the click wheel (spaces in between). I guess the Apple site used 3d models as well :D
I plan to do an iPhone next...an actual screen grab would be very helpful, thanks!

Here you go... three png screen grabs from the iPhone... :)
Don't save them as jpg files as they will get artifacts... They are png files now.

@JeffrySG - Thanks!! Definitely very useful :thumbsup:
@geo - not really...though I'd admit, I like Apple's minimalistic designs
