hi the pirate bay scene was>>

lightwave> pier model, fishing rod model, base geometry for head, hat
zbrush>z spheres for the body mesh
man on the pier was put together in zbrush...note i also had a water model and a background land model nut zbrush perspective view wouldn't work with the large model of the bg, sort inverted...

so...background...painter x

threw the zbrush foregrond into pshop element via zapplink then took that and the bg into painter for a mess around

lower pic is just a pshop filter mess around.

..just playing!
