All right,

In 3D Max I´ve used to doing animations with a simple trick: camera follows a path.

I´m just starting to use Lighwave and in a start I can say I´m not a friend of LWs manner to handle paths/splines (yet).

How can I create basic shapes like circle?

I think I´m trying to do things in a hard way because I´m not yet familiar with the working methods of LW.

Thanks.

In layout there is a motion modifier called "CurveConstraint", it'll do what you need.

But, its kind of a pain since you have to draw the curve in modeler, load it into layout, then apply the modeifier to you camera. So if you want to chnge the curve its a lot of back and forth between modeler and layout. But its got some pretty cool options, like adjust the percentage to which it adheres to the curve and what frames to start and stop the constraint.

try this as well:

it will give you channel-based control over the paths.
