Me and the girlfriend are going to buy eachother a bunch of board games from coolstuffinc:) We of course know what we order, but we'll get mom or someone to check that everything arrives in one piece and then to pack them up for us. Hehe. that way, there will be some surprise and unpacking fun!

I'm thinking I could throw in some games in the order for some of my friends too. But there are still lots of people left. Has anyone here come up with any good ideas this year?

There is a gloriously wonderful workaround, isn't there?

I shot a 3D movie of a 75th anniversary, but one of the cameras had to be 180 degrees upside down, and now they'd like me to do the rightside-upping.

In 7.5, there seemed to be a gain added when one used the background feature; is this the same thing? The fix for that was to substitute a card for the background, but I thought the front projection was still an option.

We use it for the Torque Game Engine. I have tried the garage games site and no documentation on it. Thanks.

*************************************************
Rules:

1. Every week there will be a subject for you to model along with a time limit. You should spend no longer than the allocated time, then post a render of your model. As in most challenges like this, your honesty on modelling times is essential. How you interpret the brief is up to you as long as the final model conforms to what is asked for.
2. Post a render of your model (min 800x600 pixels) in this thread with a wireframe.
3. LightWave should be used for modelling. 3rd party Plug ins are allowed.
4. You can enter as many times as you like, posting each in this thread. If you run over the time, the model can still be posted but won't be subject to the judging.
5. Time spent on texturing, setting up a scene for a render and rendering is not included in the allocated period.

**Please mention whether or not you would be happy to share the model.**
Time Limit - 60 minutes.
ive asked around for advice regarding what kind of hardware platform to go for, and thought it would be insane to NOT ask the other users and techies what they consider to be best.
ive been informed that the I7 has some kind of threading technology which makes it optimal for lws rendering etc, so im after some feedback and advice as to whether this is true, if theres anything better, and whether its worth trying to cram several I7's into one shell?

id love some feedback please.
