I might get it. My instincts scream BOYCOTT, but if I read good things about it I'll probably give in.

Yeah the end credits was fun.

Had a quick go on multiplayer, feels too much like a console port compared to COD4, didn't seem as much fun either, maybe it will be better if we all play as oppose to random people.

Main problem I find is that the aiming doesn't seem accurate enough, probably just need to get used to it, it feels different.

BTW: My Steam Tag: mattgorner
I played MW1 on a friends xbox when it first came out and it was much less accurate and seemed a lot slower than the PC version. I can only assume that it is designed that way due to playing with a controller rather than a mouse. I was getting seriously pounded because I was so used to running for cover, crouching, aiming through the sights and taking precise shots but the console controls seem geared more towards a Quake style of spraying in the general vacinity and hope they make contact.

Yep, that's how MP felt on CODMW2.

Matt, I was unable to find your profile. I searched for the tag/username you provided, but Steam didn't find anything.

I created a group: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/lw3dgamers/
If there's no other LW group now, join it! This way we can find each other under the group in the Friends list.

At the moment it is "public", but in the long run I can switch it to "invites only".

Next Game: Saturday 24, April 2010 (next Saturday)

Hi guys!

Long time since the last game I have to say. I havn't been playing COD4 for a very long time, so I thought it might be fun to have a game again. Also, a week headsup should be enough for those of you who may have unistalled the game.

So...next Saturday 20.00 (8 pm) Swedish (Stockholm time).

Use this link to see the corresponding time all around the world!

See you in the game!

Hey Cageman, what are the changes of getting a Battlefield Bad Company 2 server up and running?

It's not quite as 'arcade' as COD4, and the maps are much, much larger so would need quite a few people to make it work.

Gotta say, since I bought MW2 I've hardly played it, but a week or two ago I had a quick game on multiplayer and I hated it, they really messed up the feel of that game.

BFBC2 on the other hand feels like a more tactical version of COD4, it rocks!

Well... first of all I would have to buy it. So the chances are somewhat slim at the moment. If enough people are interrested, I can't see why not making it so. Also, it would be fun with a World in Conflict server.

Saturdays are always a bit tricky and I haven't installed COD onto this machine yet but I'll keep it in mind as it was a lot of fun before. I haven't actually played it since last year!
