That reads well, thanks. Isn't Marjoram a difficult herb...?

- My HD is on the blink. Essentially throw... working only on "safe boot"; wobbly, unstable not worth repairing.

It comes down to the same thing as the breakfast/coffee dispenser as the Coco Pops ads used to say; "malfunction in breakfast dispenser what are we going to do Coco?"... like a groggy human who is so tired can't be bothered with breakfast: Just open a pack of Coco Pops and shut the f**k up!

- Safe boot since Friday last = withdrawal symptoms if not separation anxiety. Could be a few weeks knowing the story here.

Difficult? Difficult how? As in does it needs lots of discipline and is generally unruly in class? Or as in it asks awkward questions on the first date, makes a bit of a scene and doesn't offer to split the bill?

What did you do to your HD?

Ha ha, yes, all of that.

- I find it difficult to dissociate Marjoram from the bilious aroma of hydroponic Cannabis. Comfrey does the same thing... Nutmeg if you use too much as well so it's just me. Oregano doesn't although they're more or less the same thing. I wouldn't have noticed I said that if you hadn't.

Maybe when you become "hypersensitive" to some plant ingredient you also become irrational. Or is it that you actually pick out the differences between certain compounds?

Personally, when dealing with odours it isn't rational because I still can't eat Vegemite or Peanut Butter even though I love Peanuts and know Vegemite tastes good. Part of some "childhood" experience which also included chocolate which I thankfully got over.

Marjoram being a cultivated version of Oregano.

Seriously?! I've always found cannabis and majoram to be chalk and cheese. Maybe you need to have a word with your supplier!!

Careful with the nutmeg. It's a fine line between 'oooh look at the pixies' and death.

I have a friend who gets hyper on coriander. Go figure.

Given that the daily intake of water, coffee, food and wine is already a wonder of photosynthesis it's hard to argue one herb over another.

Either way we're biochemically indebted to plant life but C9,H1,3N is periodically more my cup of tea each to his own.

Discovered a huge sort of Farmer's market this morning with all sorts of stalls promoting boutique wineries etc... coolest thing was vegetable chips made by super compressing the water out of rather than deep frying them... OK, bought a case of W wine from the Hunter and a rather large bottle of australian truffle oil ( since you only need a few drops) ... but pressurizing food will eventually supersede pasteurization because it doesn't kill off the nutritional elements.

Pressurized to the degree that Bacteria is decomposed on the molecular level.

Meanwhile back on the PPC and 8.5... no bandglue, CC's, edge selection, spline draw, FPrime, LWCAD etc. Hoping the current machine is a right-off since the new imacs are quad core. Can't justify the spend otherwise.

... "Careful with the nutmeg. It's a fine line between 'oooh look at the pixies' and death."

I think that comes from "Aldous Huxley" precariously speaking

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aldous_Huxley

and his attempt to come to terms with his own eyesight problems and decipher the nascent drug culture of the 1940's... namely; "the doors to perception and heaven and hell" ( 2 essays ).

- Worth a read because it's so full of obviously silly assumptions as is "Brave new World".

Nutmeg? The ancients used to speak of Marjoram as if.

There are safer ways to achieve that effect.

I said "prefer" and entirely not meaning to blog on about drugs you know what I mean but yesterday had a stroboscopic snake/bum exam procedure (which required 3 days of fasting beforehand) and then you get knocked out on some smart diazepam derivative which scrambles your memory. Then come to and eat a chicken sandwich!

What can I say. LIke taking an afternoon nap.

Read that thanks but I'm not convinced by the idea of hallucinogens at all.

It's a sort of 1930's concept whilst the media happily still accommodate sightings of the virgin mary on fence posts at a distance.

So all those drugs to me discover nothing not already contained in Delirium, which is an abject kind of suffering.
