Yes, it's a monster but the recoil is massive so you have to be sure of a kill first time. I've only seen a couple of guys ever use it because of that but it's a devastating weapon in the right hands.
Be sure to check out the mini challenges too, you get XP points and bonuses for completing them. Some of you discovered the 'massive drop' one with the silos but there's others like blowing up so many cars and my last one with you guys was humiliation - killing someone with their own gun.

Adam, hey you know you don't have to create a whole new profile just to change your online name.
Just go into Multiplayer options and enter a new name, and all your ranks and perks remain. You can do that as many times as you want, without it ever affecting your actual profile.

I had that last year when I was playing alot still, but lost all that stuff since I never backed up my game stuff. I'm not even sure how or what to back up for that matter.
It WAS a beauty though.

Hey Cageman, are you going to be setting up a Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 server when it's released?
That would be cool! We get to kill each other all over again with new weapons!

Matt, you're not paying attention I see. MW2 won't have dedicated servers. And LOADS of PC players are signing a petition to make IW add support for dedicated servers.
IW is creating something called IW.net, which essentially will be much like the match making system in Left 4 Dead. Totally random.
But I'm careful about talking about how this actually will work. I won't buy MW2 until I see some kind of proof it actually works so I won't join a server with 3000+ ping like Left 4 Dead is now.
However, the game does look interesting though.

Yeah I read about that too. That just seems like such a strange decision. The COD series has been so enormously popular due probably almost entirely to its ease of use for getting into online games and creating your own servers. Granted the gameplay is great too, and the single player campaigns are pretty cool, but what has sustained them is their online fan base.
Now they want to mess with all that, which could completely destroy everything they've built up over the years.
Go figure. Makes no sense to me.

I completely agree, I've played COD online and via LAN since the first game, it seems like a rediculous decision. This is the first time I heard this, it's really put me off buying it.

Signed sealed and delivered. IW had a sort of chat last night with bestbuy, transcripts are on IW's MW2 forum. It has been confirmed NO Dedi servers just IWnet. No lean function. No sale here, Have you guys seen shattered Horizon which I think may even be releaseing today its an FPS shooter in zero G from Futuremark Games Studio... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dd-2dZMDAGw

WTF! The reason COD4 has lasted so long was because they got a perfect mix of easy of play and balance with the online game.
Will be missing this one until it has online gaming.
Signed.
