Speed Modeling Challenge #48 - Explosives

Speed Modeling Challenge #48 - Explosives
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

************************************************** *******
Rules:

1: Every week there will be a subject for you to model along with a time limit. You should spend no longer than the allocated time, then post a render of your model. As in most challenges like this, your honesty on modelling times is essential.
How you interpret the brief is up to you as long as the final model conforms to what is asked for.

2: Post a render of your model (min 800x600 pixels) in this thread with a wireframe.

3: LightWave should be used for modelling. 3rd party Plug ins are allowed.

4: You can enter as many times as you like, posting each in this thread. If you run over the time, the model can still be posted but won't be subject to the judging.

5: Time spent on texturing, setting up a scene for a render and rendering is not included in the allocated period.

**Please mention whether or not you would be happy to share the model.**

************************************************** *******

Subject - Explosives

Anyhing that goes bang basically.
Bombs, missiles, rockets, fireworks, mines, grenades. Go for it!

Time Limit - 60 minutes

Deadline - Wednesday 29 July 2200 GMT

Super Cheesy (especially the worms and instancing) i know, but it was the only idea i had. I never modeled like this, with a chronometer. I used tools i never use normally LOL. When you're stressed up, everything goes

Glad to participate here :P

Render and Wireframe ( no time for cleanup :P)

Cheers

Haha, I love it, great idea probiner!

I always miss these, so I thought I'd get in early with this, and also before anyone nabbed it!

The usual full hour for modelling, and for setting up the render, don't ask.

A naval mine. No texturing yet. It took me about 55 minutes of modeling.

Too bad I suck at texturing.. I'd model a bowl of chili.
