Adam RIG- FREE.
One of my fellow alumni from THE DAVE SCHOOL, Kurt Smith, shared something with me this weekend, and it was so cool, I told him it needed to be shared with everyone.
He was more than excited to oblige- and even slapped together a video to explain the ins and outs of ....
wait for it..
THE ADAM RIG
the LWO and LWS are attached to this post. Have fun with it, and send him your love (and comments and suggestions)!
His forum name is The Scientist... He'll be excited to hear what you think.

Nice clean layout... lovely light rig... however...
FKIK switch for the arms doesnt work properly, goals and pole still affect arms when in FK mode. Autosnap would be nice too.
Also a gimbal issue on the head, so theres a lil twitch is the body and root rotate too much... targeting doesnt bank the head when the body is turned side to side, and the axis dont fully line up, so again, no autosnap cross keying for the blend.
Stretchy would be great too.
Face layout is nice, except the eylids, which use up too many controllers, more than is necessary, causes overlaps, and most of the face shapes dont combine very well at all. Like the individual smile controllers with the jaw open, teeth come through, etc.
Otherwise a great start.

Great looking rig! Simple to control and fast. I'd love to see some good animators make some examples with it.

More to the point in my experience, those who are hard to please are the animators... when something doesnt work right, or behaves in an unexpected fashion, they wave their arms in the air and have themselves some big girlie fit whilst declaring "I cant work with this!!!"
I just try to save myself the earache.
