Thanks guys.

I use sas with hair chains for the hair and the eyes are just simple texture map on sphere.

I like that too....
May be I think the pumpkins can do a little modification on texturing.... I still think about the pumpkins lack of something but cannot figure it out.

Sigh... I am not a very good texturer....

GruvSyco: There is nothing complicated about my composition. I am not a very advanced LW user. Just a very wide angle lens zooming down on the girls.

An hour.....WOW...that's quite a bit of time there....the scene looks great to me....rendering out animations might be a bear though....also...the style kind of reminds me of Mark Rydens style...very clean and refreshing with a twist....I like it alot...any other scenes you might have of these two?

With my P4 2.53MHZ and 1GB ram I am surprised it took that long too. Guess it is an overdose of area lights ( 4 total ) and 4 point lights with volumetrics. Plus sas for the hairs, wings and hand.

I use LW off and on for less than 2 years and I dun have a lot of work. YOu can check out the rest on my website. http://www.jaredlim.biz .

Thanks for your help btw.

I think this picture is excellent, especially the 2 characters. They make me think of my nieces, as one of them is really sweet and the other is a real devil at times... .

Can i ask if it's ok to send this picture to them? I think they'd love to see this.

Not a criticism, just my personal opinion. But i think the picture might look more striking if the hand with the sweets and the 2 smaller pumpkins were removed. Esepecially the 2 pumpkins... as they seem to distract my eyes a bit.
