Morphing Software?

Hi All,

I need to use some morphing software for a freelance effects shot. I need to morph a man and child into a statue of a man and child. It would be great if I could find something that runs on OS X. Does anyone know of a good program?

I found a free program called MorphX. It's actually very nice. It only can use still images though. It renders out to uncompressed quicktime!(Tiff) I may be able to use this. I am looking for something that can use quicktimes or image sequences. Maybe something I can use a demo to just get this shot done.
Thanks a lot,

Wes

avid purchased and is currently ruining the best morphing program ever: Elastic Reality, which was well on its way to being ruined in any case.

version 3 was the best it ever got, then it became bloat ware, and now the technology has been relegated to "morphing" between frames in the avid, during slowed down footage (a travesty in my opinion).

I hope you find good morphing software, because the void left by the loss of Elastic reality is HUGE. let us know if you do find any.

I was looking for Elastic Reality, but I couldn't find it anywhere. I did find some
after effects plugins that are good. They are from Re:vision Effects. They are morphing plugins. You can do stills, warps, or morph quicktimes. It good, but expensive.

Thanks,

Wes

Studio Artist can do morphs, and i think it can use quicktime movies or image sequences. Version 2.0 runs on OSX. http://www.synthetik.com/ It's not free though. Sorry.

Hey, thanks for mentioning that MorphX. Even though it won't morph movie files it is GREAT FREE PROGRAM! It does a really nice job provided that you give it lots of control lines. Very nice. It is a very useful program, and i have been looking for a while too.

Studio Artist looks like that would work nice. I think I am going to get lucky and get to use the Reflex plugin for After Effects. I like the MorphX program. I think that it will come in handy someday.
Thanks for the help.
