Post Video Tutorial: Building Animations Using LightWave

A few people have asked how you can use LightWave itself to build animations such as .mov or .avi from frames rendered out using ScreamerNet.

So I decided to create a quick video tutorial to show how this can be done. Obviously if you own a video editing package like Premiere or Vegas (or even any of the free ones available for download from the many shareware sites) you won't need this. But you can also use this method to batch edit many frames using any of LightWave's pixel filters, such as HDR Exposure.

Building_Animations_Using_LightWave.zip (34MB Quicktime)

Hope someone finds this useful.

Regards
Matt

Cool! I knew you could do that, but it's amazing how helpful a short video tutorial can be! THanks for that, Matt!

I usually composite my individual renders with a cheap-n-dirty application I got off the web, but it's great to know how easy it is to take advantage of some of LightWave's built-in capabilities, making it an all-in-one tool.

I guess this thread is old, the links seem to be broken.

Does anyone know where there is information on this. I want to composite the images from a streamernet render into a lightwave animation.

Thanks in advance.
