Atmospheric shots
Another couple of interiors I did recently. More stylised as they were personal projects.

Thanks Carlos.
I'm glad you liked the second as most people seem to favour the first.

hi, really good works.
I'm one of those who prefer first one, second is nice but water is odd (maybe i'd scale don bump map) and light behind mirro is confusing.
I'd make a simpler camera work too... maybe i'd put camera on the left and look straight at the windows, in order to see mirror on the left and water at the bottom of the pic.
Anyway very good lighting, fprime or LW ? (or Kray in pathracing mode) ?
Paolo

Thanks Paolo. After a suggestion on another forum, I made some changes to the second one.
Oh and yes, it's FPrime.

much better.
anyway i'd rpefer a straighter camera, usually it looks more elegant.
Generally, the less diagonal lines you have in the pic, the better the pic will look.

this pic looks more balanced and relaxing:
plus nothing beats a large mirror to stare at yourself naked in the bathtub...

Me prefers the first one too, despite the plastic seat. Only something with your lighting is irritating, in my eyes the shadows look more like dirt than like shadows.

The first image have a dreamy look that i like very much and the grain suits the overall dreamy look. I have a few questions about lightsetup, how many bounces? Is the light behind mirrors and shelfes intential? Very nice work.

Pavlov/Stooch, thanks.
Ingo, thanks (I think.)
Silverlw, 3 bounces at 120% intensity. Yes, design is intentional.

Lovely, for the water I would try a glass shader.

very nice. I always enjoy opening your threads.
yeah... I like the second one better, but the first version of it. What can I say, I like mirrors.
How long to these take to render?

I think I like the first water scene better, but both of them look great. I like the subtly of your water surface.

very nice work! i like the second one, first version, and even if technically excellent, i find the chair corner a bit boring... the only thing i'm missing is a wavy water borderline, because of the tiling line up it's too apparent that the surface is shader-only. i like the flowers and the soft white halo (photoshop?) which gives the impression of humidity in the air..
ehm.. no ..ducks?

Thank you.
The render times were 2-3 hours for medium resolution renders (1600x1200)
Ducks? In a bath?
That's a very personal matter and I can't believe you asked!
