NewTek releases free live virtual set authoring tool

NewTek is very proud of its LiveSet™ real-time virtual set technology and has been working hard to put all that creative capability in your hands. We’re excited to announce that LiveSet Generator™ for LightWaveŽ is now available as a free download on the registration server for all registered owners of LightWave, and will be available soon to TriCaster STUDIO™ and VT[5]™ owners.

Once you have established a registration account at http://register.newtek.com/ you can log in and click ‘My Downloads’ at the top to access this powerful plug-in in the LightWave Bonus Content section.

This LightWave9.3 (Win 32-bit) plug-in allows you to author your own photo-realistic virtual sets, with multiple camera angles and focal lengths, as well as real-time scaling of on-screen video sources, real-time reflections and much more. All the incredible power of LiveSet is now at your command.

I don't see a plug-in

I downloaded the LiveSet Constructor, but it is a separate application. Is there a plug-in for LW as well?

Will I need lightwave to use the "LiveSet Constructor"? I haven't used Lightwave since the Amiga days long ago, but would like to create a set for our production.
Thank you for the help ahead of time.
