LightWave 3D Gallery Submission Guidelines

For several reasons, including bandwidth utilization, consistency for our viewers, and consideration of those users that prefer smaller screen resolutions, we have established a set of specifications for gallery submissions.

1. All images should be created with LightWave 3D, and you should specify when the image was created and what version of LightWave was used.

2. All images should be in a JPG format that is viewable in standard web browsers (RGB).

3. All images should include a wireframe screen capture or render, for verification of its authenticity as a 3D image and as your own original creation.

4. All images should have a resolution no larger than 1200x1200 pixels and a file size no bigger than 200kb .

5. Only one image per subject matter will be posted. You are welcome to make the image a collage of multiple views, but please create this yourself before submitting.

6. Please fill out the form below, including all required information for your gallery submission.

Due to the volume of submissions, we are simply not able to include everything.  Please rest assured that no criticism is intended if your work is not accepted for inclusion in the NewTek LightWave Gallery.   We certainly hope that you will continue to submit future works for consideration. We would also recommend you take the opportunity to post your work to the LW - Gallery for Works-In-Progress section of the NewTek Discussion Forums to ask for the guidance and critique of other LightWave artists for furthering your craft, something we are not able to provide ourselves due to the volume of submissions we receive. Decisions as to whether or not an image will be included in the Gallery will be solely that of the NewTek Marketing Department.

If you are considering submission of material that you feel may be controversial in nature, please bear in mind that we may not be likely not accept an image where there is a significant chance that some viewers of the Gallery will find the subject matter objectionable, and we would not be able to accept an image that would be legally restricted from viewing whether such legal restriction would apply for minors or in general. Please keep in mind that LightWave users come from all walks of life and from all age brackets. This is not an effort to enforce censorship, but we are a business, and as such must be considerate of all of our customers' views and of reasonable restrictions. Decisions as to whether or not an image would be considered objectionable will be solely that of the NewTek Marketing Department.

You will be notified, via e-mail, whether or not your image has been accepted for use in the Gallery.

Notice: Due to the number of submissions we receive and other responsibilities of those who process the submissions, Gallery submissions are only reviewed for inclusion once a month. Please wait at least that long before inquiring about not receiving a response to your submission.
