LightWave v9 Open Beta Now Available |

The 64-bit PC platform will be available later today or tomorrow. WizKids and The DAVE School are producing a student-made MechWarrior short film created exclusively with LightWave 3D. WizKids will have input in script development, but the film will be directed by director Lee Stringer and produced entirely by the students at the Dave School in Orlando, FL. The as-yet-unnamed film will release this summer, and will be screened at Origins 2006 in Columbus, Ohio, and Gen Con 2006 in Indianapolis, Ind. It will also be available for download online.
