This is just the beginning of a monstrous addiction. NewTek is offering a collection of FREE Creature Kit downloads, starting with the “Mutant,” by artist, Luis Santos – first in the series.

Each kit contains components built in LightWave™ that the artist used to construct each creature, including image maps for displacement, cavity, color and reflection; plus an HDR image for the background scene, complete with lighting, camera, and render setup to replicate the settings. Using the kits as a learning tool, you could soon be designing your own creatures.
