been overwhelmingly popular, with tens of thousands
of downloads since they were originally posted.

high-resolution textures from time to time
and participants can sign up for notification

"Great textures are key
tools for the digital artist in getting just
the right look, and these are an incredible collection
of real-world textures," said Dan Ablan,

Digital Studios and 3DGarage.com in Chicago,
IL. "The resolution and detail are just
what I look for to produce great results at render
time. NewTek demonstrates an incredible commitment
to digital artists, both by providing great tools
at affordable prices, but also with the content
they provide, such as the free texture collections."

set of textures include Wood, Metal, Sky, Nature,
and Stone. All textures are unretouched photographic
images at 1600 pixels x 1200 pixels resolution.
