NewTek Taps
H2MW for Support and Development of
LightWave 3D® Scripting Language
H2MW to
work with NewTek on the enhancement of LScript™,
providing the
LightWave® community with extensive
new development and support resources.

September 7, 2004 -- NewTek, Inc.,
manufacturer of industry-leading 3D animation
and video products, today announced that an
agreement has been reached with the software
team of H2MW to collaborate
in the management, further development and
support of LScript™, LightWave 3D's
powerful scripting language. LScript provides
the ability for users to easily create scripts
that automate all functionality of LightWave,
ranging from simple and repetitive tasks to
highly specific and complex applications. H2MW
will work closely with the LightWave 3D development
team to advance the current capabilities of
LScript and provide a wide variety of support
services to the LightWave community including:
online troubleshooting, regular participation
in NewTek's LScript mailing list, updated LScript
documentation and new example scripts posted
on the NewTek web site each month.
The LScript capabilities of
Emmy® Award-winning
LightWave 3D® make it possible for LightWave users
across the spectrum from high profile Hollywood
film and television visual effects producers,
to game developers, motion graphic artists and
print graphic designers to customize the software
to meet their particular needs.

available, in addition to the creation of the
present LScript documentation.
