NewTek’s TriCaster PRO™ Allows Tower of Youth Indie Film Festival
to “Rock this World!”

Thursday, September 28, 2006 – For the past 10 years, youth from all over the United States and Canada have placed their dreams and career aspirations into creating short films of all genres for the Tower of Youth (TOY) Annual North American all youth Film & Education  Day movie festival. This event, which has grown in huge size and quality since its start in 1996, is responsible for encouraging many a youth filmmaker to continue with his or her life and personal growth plans, instilling a sense of pride and accomplishment and ensuring the digital arts and sciences will continue to flourish. This year’s event, scheduled for Friday, Oct. 6 at the historic Crest Theater in Sacramento, CA, is fittingly called “YOUTH INDIE ROCKS THIS WORLD!

Although this event has always garnered press and accolades to its many contributors, this year TOY has partnered with NewTek, creator of TriCaster PRO™, a leader in the IPTV revolution, to webstream this live event, introducing these young and talented filmmakers to a wider, more disperse audience via the Internet.
