NewTek, Inc., Enhances Forums with Opportunity Center

Expanded Classifieds Section Extends Services Forums Offer Users
Beyond Typical Support Areas

San Antonio, Texas -- October 18, 2002 -- NewTek, Inc., manufacturer of industry-leading 3D animation and video products, today announced announced the "Opportunity Center", an expanded classified ads section where product users can post job openings, resumes, service listings and other notices. The Opportunity Center also includes areas where schools and training centers can post their training offerings for NewTek's LightWave 3D®, VT®, and Aura Video Paint. Producers of books and tapes for training on NewTek's line of products may also list their products in the Training and Education sections or in the Buy/Sell/Trade sections.

"We're very oriented to our user community," said Chuck Baker, director of corporate communications and the administrator of NewTek's Forum.
