Job Title: 3D Product Marketing Specialist
Department: Marketing
Reports To: Chief Marketing Officer
Summary
Help define and guide the strategy for development and marketing of NewTek's 3D products. This individual will use market research and customer feedback to help NewTek analyze its 3D offerings and strategically define them relative to customer needs and competitive products. Additionally, they will coordinate the release and distribution of each 3D product.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assist in identifying market potential and establishing market strategies
- Establish high level view of product requirements for the long and short term
- Continually analyze and evaluate full range of competing products
- Conduct needs assessments of users
- Analyze and prioritize artists needs
- Recommend and oversee the development of 3D marketing collateral including but not limited to: Web site, brochure, curriculum, demonstration material, tutorials, webinars, FAQ’s and case studies
- Provide support for 3D demonstration tours and presentations
- Recommend and prepare product demonstrations for use in marketing and sales
- Establish requirements for education and artist certification
- Coordinate and manage software releases with development, operations and marketing
- Act as marketing liaison with the content and 3D development groups
- Evaluate third party solutions for potential acquisition and/or licensing
- Evaluate user feedback post release for improvements and recommended changes
- Participate in 3D development meetings and planning sessions
- Analyze the ROI of past activities and recommend future course of marketing schedules and activities
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, candidates should be very well organized, have superior writing and speaking skills, strive for consistent excellence and have a high level of energy and output.
Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in marketing or related discipline and/or 3-5 years experience in marketing, along with an expert level understanding of LightWave 3D.
