Differences in Bones Between 3.5 and 4.0
Product: Lightwave

Problem: The user has created a set
of objects in LW 3.5 using bones and found that when
they are loaded into LW 4.0, the bones seemed to have
a different type of influence. The user needs the bones
work the way they did in LW 3.5.
The workings of bones have been changed pretty substantially.
You should find that bones work more like you were
used to if you turn on the "Scale strength by
rest length" button in the Object skeleton panel,
and perhaps make a few adjustments to the strength
and range gadgets.
