      Animation Did Not Render With Preselected Options

Problem: "I picked several options on the Record panel, such as Medium-Res Overlay for animation type, then clicked EasyAnim to start the render. The animation instead rendered as Low-Res Preview."

EasyAnim is frequently mistaken for a button to start renders, even when the target rendering is to image sequences rather than the Toaster animation formats provided in VT/LW version 3.0 and higher. Actually the Easyanim button is provided as an automated way to setup LW for a Low-Res Preview Toaster animation, and launch the rendering. EasyAnim resets all the necessary options on the Camera and Record panels to do this. If you want to render anything else, just choose your options on the Record and Camera panels, then click on the Render button, not EasyAnim. Select Automatic Frame Advance, and start the rendering.

Note that the Video Toaster animation formats provided in 3.0 and higher software, such as Easyanim, Medium Resolution, Medium Res Overlay, etc, will render on any Amiga, but will only play on a Toaster-equipped 4000-series machine, since these formats require the AGA chipset.
