      Modeler Does not know Paths to Content

Product: Lightwave Amiga 4.0 and 5.0 Toaster/Flyer and SA

Problem: Modeler does not pick up the paths for content, when Modeler is loaded from Layout.

This is a bug that was never resolved by the programmers. Example: When you click on a Load button in Modeler, to load an Object for instance, the file requestor comes up and immediately pops up the error message "Path not found".

Workaround: Hard code all path specifications in LW-config. Example: If your NewTek directory is on drive HD1:, then you would modify the line:

ScenesDirectory Scenes

to read:

ScenesDirectory HD1:NewTek/Scenes

Do this for each of the "Directory" lines in LW-Config. Modeler will then be able to correctly use the content paths when loaded from Layout.
