System Crashes When Saving ChromaFX
Product: Toaster 3.5 and earlier
Platforms: 2000 3000 3000T 4000 4000T
Problem: On attempt to save a file
from ChromaFX, the System crashes.
This happens if the target drive or partition is full.
The software does not check for space before attempting
the file save, and does not error trap for a failure
of the save attempt.
If the drive is invalidated (which usually happens
if the Amiga crashes during a write to a drive), and
if Workbench does not revalidate in on reboot, then
you may need to use a disk recovery utility such as
DiskSalv, QuarterBack Tools, or AmiBack Tools to revalidate.
Always check your drive for space before saving from
any Toaster application.
