      Program Output and Preview Output Do Not Match

Problem: Program and Preview outputs do not exactly match.

Program and Preview outputs are not identical, and were never intended to be. On some Toasters the match may be so close you can't tell the difference, but on some Toasters you will see a substantial difference between the two outputs.

The Preview output serves only the function of allowing you to select and see a source on the Preview bus before using a wipe or DVE to switch it to Program output, and the function of displaying the interface when the user chooses. If you are trying to send both to a down stream switcher or effects box, please be aware that there is no implied or explicit promise that Preview output is acceptable as final video output or that it matches Program output, which goes through more processing circuitry than does Preview.
