      4.12ca Installation Hangs Up at File "Binoculars" /Flyer LEDs hang at 1 and 3

Problem: During an installation using the 4.1D CD-ROM and the 4.12ca Install floppy, the installation hangs up at the "Binoculars" effect; FlyerInit hangs with LEDs 1 and 3 lit.

This will occur if the serial number has not been written to the EEPROM, or a 4-digit serial number was written. This can be confirmed using Repair's serial number read routine. NewTek can supply the read routine to dealers and service personnel. Contact NewTek Technical Support for the routine, and for arrangements for correction if the condition is confirmed.
