Product: Amiga LightWave Toaster 4.1 Flyer

Problems: NewTek software will not run and reports ARexx is not running; or NewTek software runs, but ARexx functions do not work properly.

1. If AREXX is not running:

   Start AREXX by double clicking on the REXXMAST icon that is located in the Workbench System directory.

   To have ARexx start automatically each time the system is booted, have the end-user place it in the WBStartup directory on their boot drive, and re-boot their system. Alternatively, the user could add the following line to their s:startup-sequence file:

   run >nil: sys:system/rexxmast

2. Is Magic Workbench installed?

   Magic Workbench causes problems with the Flyer's AREXX commands because it installs a proportional font as the standard WorkBench font. To correct the problems, set the Workbench font to be a non-proportional font. This is done with Prefs/Font.

3. Is Power Macros installed?

   Power macros installs RP-Start into the S:user-startup file. RP-Start interferes with the Flyer AREXX commands. Remove the line that launches RP-Start from the S:user-startup file.
