    Expose uses the F9, F10, and F11 function keys in OS X, 10.3 (Panther).

This is a known issue. The new Expose tools has taken over the standard Fkeys used by LightWave in Panther. There is a workaround. You can re-configure Expose by going to the System Preferences, Expose, and changing the default Expose Fkey's to something else. Alternatively, you can define different Keyboard Shortcuts for LightWave. See pages 5.7-5.9 of the LightWave 7 Reference Manual, "Keyboard Shortcuts."
