Why does the Graph Editor crash as soon as I open it?
This is usually caused by corrupted configuration
files.
On both PC and Mac platforms, you will need to reload
your plugins after rebuilding your configuration files.
Please see the FAQ entry about doing this, if you are
unfamiliar with the procedure.
On a PC:
- Close all parts of LightWave, including the Hub.
- Go into the Documents and Settings>Your User
Name folder on your hard drive.
- Locate the files that start with "lw" and
end with ".cfg".
- Delete these files.
- The configuration files will automatically rebuild
the next time you open the appropriate portions of
LightWave.
On a Mac:
- Close all parts of LightWave, including the Hub.
- Go into the User>Your User Name>Library>Preferences
folder on your hard drive.
- Locate the files that start with "lightwave" and
end with "prefs".
- Delete these files.
- The preferences files will automatically rebuild
the next time you open the appropriate portions of
LightWave.
