    Will there be a version of LightWave optimized for the Mac G5?

Due to the relative newness of the G5 systems, and the fact that LightWave 8 is currently in development, we do not have any information on G5 support at this time. There are no plans to end development for the Mac platform, and LightWave was the first 3D program to support OSX, so there will be support for the G5, but at this time, we cannot tell you what shape that support will take.
