General
Why is my Presets window empty?
-
Do you have the folder C:\LightWave\Programs\Presets\Surface
Editor\Surface Preset on your hard drive? If yes,
go to number 2. If not, copy the Presets folder
from your LightWave CD to the C:\LightWave\Programs
folder on your hard drive.

Are there a number of folders inside it labeled
Colors, Generic, Metal, Nature, Rock, Space, Strange,
Textures? If so, go to number 3. If not, copy the
Presets folder from your LightWave CD and paste
it over the Presets folder on your hard drive.

Are there a number of files in each one ending
with the extension .PST? If so, go to number 4.
If not, copy the Presets folder from your LightWave
CD and paste it over the Presets folder on your
hard drive.

Do you have LightWave's content directory set
to C:\LightWave? If so, go to number 5. If not,
set the LightWave's content directory to C:\LightWave.

Do you have an object loaded into LightWave when
you launch the Presets window? If not, do so and
reopen the Presets window.
