Is your college or university creating inspiring video content?
UK colleges and universities are producing amazing and innovative videos for multiple uses with their NewTek systems. We want to recognize the excellent work of the tutors, students and staff who create inspiring and engaging videos and live streams. The NewTek UK Education Awards 2019 will do just that.
6 Entry Categories
We’d love to see what you are creating. The Awards are open to all faculties or staff - not just broadcast/TV production courses - entries must be created using a TriCaster or 3Play. There are 6 categories:
- Music
- Live Broadcast/event
- News, Entertainment
- Factual/Documentary
- E-learning
- Sports & Esports
Get Involved – Deadline extended!
It’s really simple to take part. Get your team together, produce your great content and submit your video entry before 14 May 2019. There’s no minimum or maximum length, or subject. It just has to be good (and legal, decent, honest & true).
Judging
The panel of judges will be announced shortly. They will be content and technical broadcast experts looking for:
- Originality
- Creativity
- Production quality
- Technical ability
The winners will be announced on 21 May 2019 and the awards will be presented at The Media Production Show, London on 12 June 2019

- NewTek UK Education Awards 2019 winners certificate and plaque
- Invitation to Media Production Show with travel, entry, lunch, and prize for the winning team (for up to 10 participants) and plenty of time to explore the rest of the show
- 2 days of in-depth technical training on site
- The course leader will be recognised as the NewTek UK Tutor of the Year
- A written case study describing the winning entry and team for UK/Global promotion and inclusion in the NewTek blog and education newsletter
Who can enter?
Any UK educational establishment. Students with the permission of their tutor.
