How Integrated Production Systems Are Going IP

Claudia Kienzle provides a detailed look at how integrated production systems are adopting IP, giving rise to a new, Ethernet-driven multi-camera workflow.  In addition, a variety of specialized tools are now using IP to provide the interoperation that video makers still want even when they have chosen an integrated platform over creating a custom workflow with all specialized components.   One of the common elements to many of the integrated platforms, as well as the specialist products, is that IP is added via NewTek’s Network Device Interface (NDI®).  Read the complete story at TVTechnology:
