November 03, 2016 by Chuck Baker

Streaming Media has announced the winners of the 2016 Streaming Media Readers’ Choice Awards.  NewTek TriCaster was voted the Best Video Mixer/Switcher (More than $5000) by the readers. TriCaster is the most complete multi-camera production systems on the planet, with live-switching, recording, projection, broadcast, live-streaming, graphics, text, keying, virtual sets, and more in an integrated production interface.  Solutions are available for any scale of production.

In addition, two TriCaster Mini models were runners-up in two other categories: NewTek TriCaster Mini HD-4 was a runner-up for Portable Live Streaming Appliance (Less than $7,000), and NewTek—TriCaster Mini HD4-SDI was a runner-up for Portable Live Streaming Appliance (More than $7,000). TriCaster Mini models put the full-range of TriCaster production capability into the most portable format available, a production studio that you can literally fit into a backpack.
