Yuan Advances Software-Driven IP Workflows With NewTek NDI®

May 03, 2017 by Chuck Baker

NDI-imageYuan High-Tech Development Co., Ltd., has announced support for software-driven IP workflows using NewTek’s royalty free NDI® technology. Joining the industry’s largest IP ecosystem of products and the rapidly expanding number of companies enabling NDI IP-based customer workflows, Yuan will integrate NDI into their video capture cards to be recognizable as a source by other NDI-enabled applications and devices connected to a standard Ethernet local area network.

NewTek’s NDI is also integrated into Yuan’s SDK so that other organizations can benefit from NDI technology when integrating with Yuan products. Yuan provides more than one hundred types of video capture cards with different form factors allowing customers to choose freely for building their capture systems and/or media servers. All use the same SDK.

“Software-driven IP workflows are quickly becoming ubiquitous in video production,” said Michael Kornet, executive vice president of Business Development for NewTek. “NDI-enabled products like Yuan video capture cards exponentially increase the video sources available for live production creating efficiencies and opportunities for customers that did not previously exist. NDI is the most widely adopted IP technology on the market, epitomized by the millions of customers with access to it today.”
