In a single, interconnected production environment, where any device can connect to every other device–and every source is also a destination–live production has limitless possibilities. The future of live production is at NewTek today. Get started with NDI.
"Using the NewTek TriCaster in house here at EMC2 enables us to make a television quality production with a very limited crew." – David Ross, Senior Manager EMC2 TV EMC2, a multinational corporation in the data storage, cloud computing industry...
NewTek’s Will Waters provides a close-up look at the new TriCaster TC1 at NAB 2017 with Shawn Lam of Streaming Media Producer. This tour of TC1 covers its 4K/60p-capable, 16-input, NDI®-equipped, dual-streaming encoder, and multi-camera switching features and more. The TC1’s groundbreaking IP/SDI hybrid workflow allows for both 3G/HD/SD-SDI traditional baseband and IP-based production with both current and forthcoming standards.
At NAB 2017 more than 40 companies were feeding NDI video streams (NewTek’s royalty-free IP media transport technology) to a local network for the largest interoperability demonstration ever. Waters opened the Input Configuration panel to show that all these sources are available full time to any TriCaster TC1 on the same network, allowing the operator to select from any of them on the fly during live production. Skype TX is a built-in feature as well, and Waters demonstrated the ease of operation, with automatic mix-minus audio return to the caller, and simple menu selection for tally on/off and preferences, talkback and more.
Lots more territory is covered for both TriCaster TC1 and the new NewTek Connect NC1 Input and Input/Output modules, so please enjoy Streaming Media Producer’s First Look at TriCaster TC1 at NAB 2017.
