BirdDog Announces Weather-Proof A200 NDI® HD PTZ Camera
BirdDog has announced that the Eyes A200 NDI®/SDI PTZ Camera will be releasing shortly. The unit sports 30x optical zoom, simultaneous NDI and SDI output and 1080p60 frame rates. With an IP67 rating, the A200 is a dust-proof and highly water-resistant candidate for fixed installations in both outdoor and indoor environments. The external housing has been treated for corrosion resistance against salt spray and the -40°C to +60°C operating temperature rating means the A200 has been designed to withstand the most extreme elements on earth. The unit even includes a rain wiper to keep water off the lens.
By teaming up BirdDog’s custom NDI silicon chip, a Sony CMOS backlit sensor, and a true Sony Image module A200 has lightning auto focus, incredibly sharp images, and insanely fast zoom. - BirdDog
The A200 offers 360 degree continuous rotation, 255 preset positions, Zero Deviation Positioning technology, and a preset movement speed of 150 degrees per second. The unit can be powered by PoE with an optional PoE Injector. The A200 is designed to hang upside down and comes with a choice of mounting options that gives coverage for virtually any situation: wall mount, ceiling mount, corner mount and pole mounting options are all available.
