Getting Started with TriCaster® TC1 Chapter 6: Media Players
March 13, 2019 by Richard Evans and Chuck Baker
NewTek video production specialist Richard Evans continues our tutorial series on Getting Started with TriCaster TC1 with a lesson on the media players available in TriCaster. Four types are available for managing the media to be used in a given project: 2 DDRs for videos, 2 GFX for titles, bugs, and other graphic content, 2 Sound for audio files, and lastly a set of frame buffers for still images and for image sequence animations of up to 600 frames.
TC1 DDRs do more than simply make video clips available for use in the project - they allow the user to set up sequences for playback including adding transitions and digital effects. Other editing functions are also available, including setting in and out points for each video loaded into the DDR.
