How to Create an Animated Weather Map for TriCaster with Adobe Premiere

March 10, 2016 by Chuck Baker

Modern production facilities blend a variety of tools to achieve the best capability and quality for their finished productions. Staffordshire University Media Centre is mindful of this integration and interoperation of tools in the training materials they prepare for the new generation of film and video production and journalism professionals in the UK. Specialist technical instructor Chris Leese steps through the process of creating an animated weather map in Adobe Premiere Pro for use on NewTek TriCaster. The map itself is in motion over time, and the weather graphics are animated into being as well, for a complete lesson in producing compelling motion graphics for a broadcast-quality television weather report.
