How to Record an MP4 on TriCaster®
June 06, 2019 by Richard Evans, video; Chuck Baker, text
Most of the time TriCaster® recording functions are used to archive raw footage and finished or clean output mixes at top quality for later repurposing or republishing. There are times, though, when you will want to record at compact file sizes to fit additional content distrbution methods you have planned, and TriCaster can of course do that. In this video tutorial, NewTek video content producer Richard Evans shows you how to set up to record your main output mix as an MP4, a very light file size that is convenient for moving around the network and making available on the internet. This makes use of the TriCaster’s streaming encoder, just another example of the flexibility of the TriCaster’s set of tools.
