This video, shot in Panasonic’s Solutions Centre in the UK, is a demonstration of how Panasonic model AW-HE130 and AW-HE40 remote control PTZ cameras can be used in conjunction with NewTek TriCaster. The connection between these products provides a variety of opportunities with regard to the control and output of the Panasonic models. The TriCaster can accept the cameras via HD-SDI inputs and control the cameras via RS422, but also allows for the user to decode the IP streaming from a Panasonic Remote Camera, and also control the unit via IP with ease. Since this video was produced, the user can also now engage NewTek Connect Pro to configure these cameras as NDI sources, making them accessible to TriCaster and any other NDI-enabled production tools on the same local area network.
