Ventuz Technology has leveraged the resources of the NewTek Developer Network NDI SDK to integrate NewTek NDI into their state-of-the-art real-time 3D graphics suite for broadcast production, Ventuz 5.
In this video, the user learns how to engage the capabilities offered by the new IP workflows. The demonstrator shows how to activate and use NDI video sources within Ventuz 5’s applications, where the video can be layered with graphics and other video for compelling, professional compositions. The demo artist also shows how to make Ventuz 5’s output available over the network as an NDI source and take that source as an input into a TriCaster equipped with TriCaster Advanced Edition. Once there, the user can switch to it or even layer it with other video and graphics within the TriCaster production environment to enhance the composition.
The demonstrator notes that many of these operations previously would have required one or more specialized video capture or I/O cards in the system hosting Ventuz 5, and NDI eliminates that requirement, simplifying the workflow and reducing costs while also achieving more flexibility.
