TriCaster Advanced Edition - Interface

TriCaster® Advanced Edition software adds more than 100 next-level tools and capabilities to TriCaster Pro Line and TriCaster Mini systems. These are just some of the highlights of the advanced user interface.

  1. Export
    Publish and share media from your production to more social media networks, plus FTP sites, local or external volumes, and network servers, with optional file transcoding and export right from the user interface.
  2. Replay Pad
    Create clips for in-show replay from any active IsoCorder recording channel with one-click dashboard button control (or number pad key entry) and configurable settings.
  3. Live Monitoring
    Configure operator displays to preference with additional customizable video preview windows and more workspace layouts, and identify source selections easily with enhanced on-screen tally and labeling.
  4. Advanced IP Workflow
    Access more video sources from more systems in more locations with NDI®, NewTek’s innovative Network Device Interface technology, integrated into every external input channel, plus 4 additional IP-ready switcher inputs.
  5. DataLink
    Incorporate real-time data from internal and external sources into TriCaster productions – including webpages, spreadsheets, scoreboards, databases, and RSS feeds – to display statistics, results, time data, social media posts, and more.
  6. PREVIZ Bus
    Configure and preview settings for the switcher or M/Es with sandbox-style control on a discrete bus, then take live or apply across one or more busses with copy-and-paste simplicity.
  7. M/E Layers
    Produce more sophisticated layered compositions and virtual set scenes for TriCaster 860 and TriCaster 460 productions, with support for up to 4 sources on every mix/effects bus.
  8. M/E Re-Entry
    Build even more creative layered effects for TriCaster 860 and TriCaster 460 productions, with every M/E bus available as a source for other M/Es, allowing for deeper, more complex mix/effects operations.
  9. DSK and KEY Overlays
    Apply more titles, graphics, buffer animations, and picture-in-picture effects with a second KEY layer on every TriCaster 410 and TriCaster Mini M/E bus—and four DSK overlays on the switcher and four KEY layers on every M/E bus for TriCaster 860 and TriCaster 460.
  10. Switcher Banks
    Mix with the sources from every available video channel, with two tabbed button banks providing direct access to external sources, internal sources, buffers, and M/E busses.
  11. Video Layer Management
    Easily identify, monitor, and manage switcher BKGD, DSK, and KEY layer video sources in real time, with enhanced controls that include full-time, full-motion confidence monitors and an integrated layer priority system.
  12. Playlist Transitions
    Insert transitions and custom animated effects between media player files to produce engaging video playlists, dynamic image slideshows, and spectacular highlight sequences.
  13. Media Player Controls
    Manage stored media and playback settings more easily and efficiently with playlist mode, a deeper configuration menu, and on-screen Set In and Set Out buttons to edit clips and graphics in real time.
  14. Show On
    Trigger clip playback—automatically or on demand—to seamlessly roll in-show replays on Program or any M/E, with configurable in and out transitions, and automatic return to live output.
  15. Animation Buffers
    Add more full-motion sources, while saving the DDRs for video playback, with 5 of the 15 buffers for TriCaster 410 and TriCaster Mini and 10 of the 15 buffers for TriCaster 860 and 460 enhanced for animations, motion graphics, and looping clips.
  16. Full-Motion Composition Engine (exclusive to TriCaster 8000, TriCaster 860 and TriCaster 460)
    Create and store sophisticated compositions and DVE-style motion sequences on the TriCaster 8000, TriCaster 860, and TriCaster 460 switcher and M/Es, with advanced configuration, positioning, keyframing, and effects; plus, 16 DVE presets per bus, with thumbnail snapshots and custom labels for instant identification and recall.
  17. Augmented Reality KEY Layers
    Optionally lock KEY layer elements to any position in a virtual set, producing striking embedded visuals that track with LiveSet zoom and pan movements.
  18. Audio Mixing and Routing
    Manage and monitor sound with an enhanced audio mixer that includes independent control of every audio channel, more operator-friendly on-screen faders and VU metering, and clipping alerts for increased confidence; plus, 4x4 routers for every audio input to configure more sophisticated routing.
